Made possible through the support of the Government of Canada’s National Quantum Strategy and our vibrant community, QIC’s work is building on Canada’s early quantum leadership to secure transformative economic and strategic opportunities.

By acting decisively now, Canada is positioned to capture 8% of the global quantum market by 2045 — double our typical 4% share in technology trades — driving an industry that will exceed 3% of Canada’s GDP, representing $139 billion in economic activity and more than 200,000 high-value jobs (per studies conducted by the National Research Council of Canada).

Through collective action and strategic partnerships, we’re turning Canada’s quantum potential into enduring global market leadership for the benefit of Canadians.
